Mushroom Onion Omelette

Being a fitness freak and food lover I always try to make my food healthy and filling. I have a saying when it comes to food :
"Food should not just fill your stomach it needs to first touch your soul and then your stomach"
That's my relationship with food. Every dish every flavour I add in my food has touched my πŸ’“ first and then comforted my hunger 😌.

To make this healthy breakfast or snack all you need are the following:
  • Eggs πŸ₯šπŸ₯š
  • Some Spinach πŸ₯¬πŸ₯¬πŸ₯¬πŸ₯¬
  • Mushroom πŸ„πŸ„
  • Chilli 🌢️(as per your spice level)
  • Onion πŸ§…
  • Salt πŸ§‚
  • Some grated Parmesan cheeseπŸ§€ (if you don't have parmesan it's ok you can use any other cheese πŸ˜‹)

1. Cook the veggies: Take a pan and add some butter to it. Add the chopped onion, mushroom and spinach. Let there fully cook (about 2-3 mins). Then just set them aside.

2. Make Omelette: Now take 2 eggs add salt and beat them in a bowl, and then pour them onto the same hot pan. Add the cooked mushroom, onions and spinach on top and sprinkle a generous amount of grated Parmesan cheese. Let the egg cook (about a minute) and Voila! your healthy spinach mushroom onion omelette is ready. Just toast a bread and have it with some chai or coffee ☕.

Sri Lankan Prawns Curry

I have tried prawns in a variety of preparation styles and flavours but making this Sri Lankan style curry was my first. As always I was very excited to try out something new with a new combination of flavours and using a different variety of ingredients. This juicy prawns curry infused with the Sri Lankan spice mix I made from scratch and coconut milk base was exactly what I needed after a super hectic day. Traditionally you add the prawns heads into the curry for an additional depth of flavour. However, I had bought some pre-cleaned prawns from the market which had their heads removed so could not add the heads. Turkish Bread with Za'atar Spice and Baba Ghanoush Dip

I came across Turkish bread for the first time after I moved to the Netherlands and I bought it from a Turkish shop near my place. Absolutely fell in love with it!
