With the festive season around the corner, it's time to binge on some delicious snacks and sweets. This Diwali, I decided to make these amazing tea time snack along with some traditional Indian sweets. Nutella puff pastry rolls have become my favourite and I have made these quite often when I want to just binge on something with my evening tea. Made with just one ingredient and a super quick simple method, these rolls have become an all time hit with me and my family. It's the perfect recipe when you have guests or friends over, and best of all, you do not need to do a lot of dishes when it's done.
SERVES: 5-6
PREP TIME: 5 mins
COOK TIME: 25 mins.
- 6 puff pastry squares (or 1 roll cut into portioned squares)
- Nutella
1. Prep: Line a baking tray with parchment paper and pre-heat the oven to 200°C. Take the square pastry sheets and apply Nutella on half of the pastry. Now fold the pastry to sandwich the Nutella and slightly press it. Now cut it lengthwise into 2 strips. Twist the strips to make a helix and then wind it into rolls. Set these rolls on the parchment pater.
2. Bake & Plate: Bake for 20-25 mins till the pastry rolls turn golden brown. Then remove from the oven and cool it down completely. Enjoy your Nutella rolls with some tea/coffee.
